Hello friends!

The funeral & celebration of life service for Mum is on Friday 24th September 2021.

Please can you contact the family if you wish to attend so that we can try to keep some form of social distancing at the service, as we know most people would prefer this. We ask that should you come to the crematorium that you wear a face mask during the service.  Please also come dressed in colourful clothing.

The crematorium is near Exeter Airport.  If you are travelling from the Torquay area please note the roadworks on the A380 from Penn Inn to the Teignmouth junction, so you may wish to drive to Teignmouth and up Exeter Road (B3192) to join the A380 dual carriageway. Mum was not a fan of Torquay Crem hence why it is at East Devon.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to be made to the Rowcroft Hospice At Home charity, who cared for Mum during her last couple of weeks and enabled her to stay at home with her family.

Should you wish to come for afternoon tea in Torquay we would love to see you. Again we would be grateful if you can let the family know so we can cater for the correct numbers. The Headland Hotel was one of Mum’s favourites with her WI friends, and has wonderful views over the sea. Tea will be served  around 2.15pm. There is a limited car park at The Headland, but there is parking on the local roads. 

Finally, if you wish to contribute photos or memories to this site it will be a wonderful record for us all to have.
